Job Requirements :

• NATIVE English speakers only
• VISA eligible for full-time work in Japan (sponsorship for renewal is available)
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least three years of experience as a homeroom teacher or as a class leader (assistant teaching experience not applicable).
• Valid early childhood teaching credentials are highly preferred.
• Experience with international curriculums and Jolly Phonics is highly preferred.

Job Description :

SOLTILO GSA International School is looking for motivated homeroom teachers and senior teachers for the opening of a new campus in Bunkyo, Tokyo.

SOLTILO GSA International School (SGIS)’s brand new campus will open in Motomachi Wellness Park, a brand new community hub in Ochanomizu, in April 2025. The school will blend the acclaimed sports program of Keisuke Honda’s SOLTILO with the international school curriculum of Global Step Academy. The new campus will welcome up to 100 students and 20 staff members.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in working with children.
• Ability to relate with students and staff members of different cultures and nationalities.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize assignments effectively.

Salary :

• 370,000 yen to 450,000 yen, depending on experience, responsibilities, and qualifications.

Main Duties :

• Demonstrate various educational and recreational activities for students to follow.
• Plan and teach students language arts, math, science, social studies, and, when necessary, other subjects in accordance with the monthly curriculum provided by the school.
• Encourage children to interact with their classmates and assist in developing their social skills.
• Support and communicate with parents.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ development.
• Prepare for lessons and file the reports and documents required by law.
